"We have been full with four children in residential over the last couple of weeks, so we’re fully booked there."

We’re opening up again now with some families going on overseas holidays, which is great because that’s been really missed by families for the last couple of years. Lots of our families have been able to go and visit their own families back home while we look after their child. We’re fully booked for the next couple of months!

Mum’s groups are back in person. They had a lovely time last week with some massage and well being workshops. That’s going to continue with yoga and massage. We’ve also got a Queen’s Jubilee afternoon tea for mum’s in June – with all the trimmings!

We have a new Director of Care starting in the coming weeks, who will make the decision about when we are able to resume day trips for families, which we haven’t done since early 2020. Lang Lang Foundation would like to do a music trip, Disney and Formula One are some events which we will hopefully have soon.

We also have some exciting garden events planned for families this summer – watch this space!

We’ve started expanding our BASE therapy (Body and Soul Education) to every other Saturday, allowing more children, siblings and families to access it. This allows them to do creative therapies together as a family, allowing siblings to play with their brother or sister.

Finally, we’re trying to get a dad’s group going too, following the success of mum’s group starting up again.
