Nicola Ukiah (Chair) works for advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather, based in nearby Canary Wharf, and has been a trustee since 2005. She chairs the clinical and community engagement governance committee and has also supported Richard House by running a marathon.

Imelda Staunton OBE

Actress Imelda Staunton OBE has supported the hospice for several years. The BAFTA and three-time Olivier Award winner recently invited people in aid of Richard House to see her in her West End hit, Follies.
Jim Carter

Downton Abbey star Jim Carter joined his wife, actress Imelda Staunton OBE, as a patron of the hospice. They have been strong and constant supporters, often raising much needed funds. Jim was even found riding a bicycle in Madagascar to fundraise for us!
Mark Noble

Canning Town-born football star Mark Noble is the longest serving player on the West Ham books. He has supported Richard House for many years and is not only a highly valued patron, but a favourite with the children and families when he visits.
Joe Cole

Ex-West Ham football star Joe Cole has been a supporter of Richard House for many years. He had an illustrious career, including scoring 10 goals in 56 England caps.
Imam Abdul Qayum

Sheikh Abdul Qayum is the Imam of the London Muslim Centre in east London and the East London Mosque.
David Bickerton

David Bickerton has been a partner in Clifford Chance since 1997. David is an active supporter of FreeLaw, a programme through which lawyers give pro bono advice at community Law Centres. He is also a trustee of Age UK. David has completed several cycles and marathons for charities, most recently the London marathon in April 2016 for Richard House.
Sara Hazzard

Sara Hazzard has three beautiful children. Her middle child, has a life-limiting health condition and uses Richard House services. She has always been a huge fan of the work of the hospice and never thought she might one day need them. She has worked in PR and Communications for nearly 20 years and currently works for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy as the Assistant Director of Strategic Communications.
James Joly

James Joly is the managing partner at Moncrieff Joly Group, which continues to support Richard House and CHaL, focussing on community engagement to forge partnerships between the business community, charities and NFP organisations.
Derek Lovelock

Derek Lovelock is currently Executive Chairman of Mamas & Papas, a Non-Executive Director of Spartoo.com and an Advisor to Catapult Ventures Ltd. He has spent a career in fashion retailing during which he was a Main Board Member of Storehouse PLC, Sears PLC and Chairman of Aurora Fashions. In 2013 Derek was appointed Honorary Professor and received a lifetime achievement award from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Gowhar Shaikh

Gowhar Shaikh has two children with complex health needs and has experienced bereavement and the need for the hospice first hand due to the deaths of her six babies. She has previously worked for Barclays and as a school teacher in Pakistan as well as a receptionist at a GP practice. She loves to help people, always tries to stay positive and makes the most of each day.
